Gershom grew up on Eleuthera, in Hatchet Bay, on Seaside Beach with bonefish literally in his front yard. He has guided in Andros, but has chosen to live in Eleuthera. We were hanging out at Seaside Beach, talking about a boat I had to move and he spotted some bonefish heading in our direction. I grabbed my fly rod out of the jeep, and got one on the first cast. It seems that spotting bonefish is something he does by instinct. One client described this ability as "scary" Gershom is a first rate fly fisherman and can assist with learning how to present a fly to bonefish. He is the only bonefish guide on Eleuthera, that offers "wading only" guided bonefishing. This allows anglers an opportunity to fish for the big Atlantic bonefish, that are not accessible by boat.
