 Bahamas bonefishing  can be as luxurious or economical as you chose to make it. An angler can customize a fly fishing vacation to suit his budget and desired scope of services. In the Bahamas, Eleuthera is called the "Do It Yourself" center of the bonefishing world. "Do It Yourself" packages start at $600.00 a week with a rental car. An outstanding value at the other end of he spectrum, is a  Windermere Island "Cottage" with four bedrooms, on a private island, on a private beach, with kayaks on West Beach. West Beach is on the south end of Savannah Sound, one of the premier bonefish flats on Eleuthera, and only accessible from Windermere Island, which translates into it being lightly fished. An angler vacationing with his family will have full access to the facilities of the world famous, The Club at Windermere.  

   In Andros, regarded as the "Bonefishing Capital of the World", several new bonefishing lodges have come on line,  that are offering "Grand Opening" packages, that include accommodations, guided bonefishing, meals, drinks and car rentals.  The waters of the Bahamas are among the most spectacular in the world, from the shallow flats, creeks and sounds of Andros and the other islands, to the depths of the Tongue of the Ocean. Almost every species of game fish lives in these waters, from the lightning fast bonefish to the majestic Blue Marlin. An angler may find a better location for a fly fishing vacation, in another part of the world. But then again, he may not.
 A fly fishing vacation can be arranged to include only the services that an angler requires. The packages offered here, are in most cases, all inclusive for seven day stays with some guided bonefishing. However, we can arrange stays of  shorter or longer duration. We encourage guided bonefishing for anglers new to the sport and to fly fishing the Bahamas. Guides can help to cut down the learning curve and save a great deal of "knocking around" time.  We strongly recommend considering off-shore fly fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving and nature tours by kayak, as part of an outstanding Bahamas vacation experience.
